Invitation for 8th AFLAS Congress

Laboratory Animal Scientists' Association (LASA) India (http://lasaindia.in/) is a national organization dedicated to advancing laboratory animal science by promoting the ethical care and use of laboratory animals in biomedical, pharmaceutical and veterinary research in India. LASA has several ongoing activities for its community and periodically organizes conferences and workshops (more information is available at http://lasaindia.in/conferences.php) . LASA India is member of Asian Federation of Laboratory Animal Science Associations, Japan (AFLAS) which comprises of Laboratory Animal Associations from 11 member countries. The aim of AFLAS is to promote international co-operation through Asian Congresses on Laboratory Animal Science for the purpose of reviewing scientific, technical and educational problems in Laboratory Animal Science, to develop other relevant activities in the interest of Laboratory Animal Science, and to contribute to animal welfare. AFLAS holds the conferences every two year. Last conference (7th AFLAS Congress) was held in Singapore in 2016. This years’ congress (8th AFLAS Congress) will be organized by LASA India at Bangalore, India from November 28 to December 01, 2018.

8th AFLAS Congress includes invited lectures and key note speeches from internationally renowned speakers from all over the world, covering a huge range of topics relevant to laboratory animals. In addition, student’s presentations, posters, vendor’s discussion, exhibition booths etc. would benefit all the delegates. Success of any conference depends on support from sponsors, delegates and participation of experts in the subject matter. It is envisaged that deliberations and interactions will further strengthen and enhance the cooperation among Asian laboratory animal science. LASA India cordially invites you to this event.
